What should you expect from your installation day?

All roads lead to fiber internet– here’s how you get there.

Installation Prep

Double check your plan to confirm that you’re getting the best fit for your home

Is your home more than 2,220 sq ft? Consider getting a Wi-Fi beacon to ensure optimal signal transmittance to all corners of your home.

Most likely, we’ll need to install a fiber optic cable from the street to your home.

Don’t worry about this part! You do not need to be present for this service.

You’ll receive an SMS reminder 24 hours before installation.

Need to reschedule? Call 1-800-776-6867.

A resident over the age of 18 must be present when your service technician arrives and during the entirety of the installation. Your installation will take between two and three hours.

Our service technicians will install an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) into your home before placing the router.

The ONT will convert the optical signal coming through the fiber into separate signals for TV, voice, and data.

The service technician will decide the best area to place your router.

The ideal space will be elevated and away from any physical or electrical obstructions.

After testing your network speeds, the service technician will leave your home. Boom! 😊

Upon successful installation, you’ll receive an email with a link to your new customer portal.

Be sure to read your welcome kit materials provided to you in a black folder.

Set it and forget it! Make sure you have autopay enabled, so that you never miss a payment (and get $5 off your monthly bills).

Contact us at 1-800-776-6867 if you have any questions or concerns.
